The SC Bar Young Lawyers Division (YLD) is hosting a scholarship project this year for South Carolina high school students in 11th and 12th grade. The SC Bar YLD is providing an awesome opportunity for students to compete for a cash prize while learning more about our judicial system.
In order to participate, students must either partake in an in-person observational experience in their local courthouse, or view a recording of a prior court hearing. Following the observational experience, students must create and submit a project according to the guidelines provided.
The student with the first place project in each grade will receive $2,500.
The project runs from September 18th – October 31st.
Please help spread the news about this opportunity and share with any 11th and 12th grade South Carolina students you may know, parents of such students, teachers, etc.
